"Conjure Woman" Acrylic on Canvas 22 in x 28 2013 The one theme that is constant in my work is the use of movement and color to express mood. In this piece, I wanted the viewer to feel that this woman was summoning or commanding the action of someone - it could be way that is good or bad. The viewer will have to come to their own conclusions.

I Trust Myself Acrylic on Canvas 24 in x 36 in 2013 This piece was inspired by my personal life experience of learning to trust myself. I believe it is common amongst many people. You don't know where the woman is coming from or where she is going to, but to take a leap of faith is ultimate trust.

"Open Heart" Acrylic on Canvas 24 in x 36 in 2014 Open Heart is based on a yoga pose called "Wild Thing". I chose this pose because it has a feeling of being exposed and vulnerable, but the open heart and hand shows that the body is open to the experience of life.
